The slewing bearing is a very important transmission component in mechanical equipment. This product can ensure the stable operation of the equipment during use. However, due to the large variables during equipment use, users still need to pay attention to the details of transportation, storage, protection, and installation when using the slewing bearing. Based on past experience, the staff has summarized four parts of the details when installing the slewing bearing.
1. Device Plan
The surface of the rotary bearing of the device should be bright, and all excess substances such as paint residue, welding beads, burrs, etc. should be removed. Be careful not to let solvents seep into the interior of the rotary bearing during cleaning, and do not use solvents that damage the sealing material. Before assembly, the exterior of the device should be dry and free of lubricants. Measures should be taken to protect workers and the environment.
The roughness of the device surface of the device support shall not exceed Ra=12.5, 6.3 μ m, and errors in the flatness of the device surface shall be detected for circumferential and radial errors. The circumferential flatness tolerance value has a corresponding specification range with the diameter of the slewing bearing raceway.
In order to prevent the unevenness of the device plane or deformation of the support from causing overload of the slewing support, the circumferential flatness error can only have one wave fluctuation within any 180 degree range, and the change is gentle.

2. Stiffness of the support
Standardized slewing bearings and zero clearance slewing bearings have different requirements for the rigidity of the bearings.
3. Positioning
The inner and outer raceways of the slewing bearing have a soft band, which should be placed on both sides of the main load plane. It is offset 90 degrees from the main load area. There is a blockage or marked with an "S" at the soft band. In addition, it is necessary to check the conformity between the slewing bearing and the device surface, usually using a feeler gauge. If the conformity is not good, appropriate data should be filled in. Welding operations on the support after the slewing bearing device are prohibited.
4. Consolidate bolts
On the one hand, regular (scale, quantity, strength grade, etc.) installation bolts and washers should be used. Additionally, it should be noted that full threaded bolts should not be used, old bolts, nuts, and washers should not be used, and open washers such as elastic washers should not be used. On the other hand, it is recommended to use a pre tightening force of 0.6-0.7 times the yield strength of metric bolts. It is recommended to use hydraulic fastening devices for bolts larger than M27, with a pre tightening force not exceeding 85% of the yield strength.
